Rep Power: 0 I've always liked the STi a lot more than the Evo, the styling is a real turn off: quasi-altezzas, sharkin-fin 'vortex generator' on new models and the fact that the whole thing looks just like a plain Lancer w. a hood scoop.
Not to mention the fact that the 4G63 is so played out that its just sick, even Mistubishi is talking about replacing it with a smaller but direct injection engine that is supposed to produce some impressive numbers.

Rep Power: 326 Had an Evo... great machines. both are sick. I tooled on every car at the track but other evo's and sti's, so nothing comes close to either...

Topgear is god in the auto industry, I would love to have his job aswell.

The sti is a wrx with a body kit and wing. So is the evo. I would love to have an evo but i don't think i would keep it cause everyone knows it's fast take something thats slow and make it fast but thats just my opinion.

Rep Power: 0 you know what sucks? traction control on a mercedes. It might be me, but I personally like to drive my car and not have the car drive me. it makes you feel better knowing you went around the corner fast and not the car driving its self. i like suburus better because the awd is mechanical. i dont know much about the evo(go figure) but does the computer really match the throttle with the clutch?

Rep Power: 0 If I had to get one of these I would choose the STI. But I still prefer the older evo's and imprezas. I would love to have the old 22B impreza or the EVO 5. Those cars are awesome. It just sucks that we can't get them in this f*****ing country. When I go to Portugal where I'm originally from I see the evos and imprezas there all the time.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

I would get an evo 8 because it is more my style. I like the looks, at least from the outside. And if i would get a car that fast there wouldnt be much left on the inside after i was done 'losing some weight'. Either way a think the reason people like the evo more is cause they like a more aggressive and nimble look. The reason most people like the sti is cause of the look of RAW POWER. so it depends. I prefer the more stylish and sexy over the more raw beast.
