New '06 Honda Ridgeline - Post your thoughts
Honda's new truck was introduced today. What do you think about it? I personally dont like the look, but hopefully it will grow on me. Pics are located here So....what does the rest of 7thgen think about the new Ridgeline?

Rep Power: 310 not bad for a truck comming from Honda. but their kinda late on that cause just about every truck out their has the same potential. if they made a hybrid ecno truck or some like that, then it'd be impressive.

i think it looks aight. the tailights looked shittier than the concept pics because of that amber piece. kinda looked like a beefed up element from the inside/out.

Rep Power: 0 well i wish they would've had kept the cool projector headlights that the concept has a long with the cool roof and interior which IMO it looks too plain the wheels also look small and the engine doesnt look that powerful again i hope the price is not that high because it wouldnt be a wise descition to buy that truck compared to the dodge ram hemi that runs for like 28k

Rep Power: 323 I like it. Then again, I like the Element too. I've been saying that I like the look and style because it differs from their other styling cues of the CRV/Pilot.

Rep Power: 0 Hey I actually dont think that looks to bad, the bed isnt too short or anything for the bad, it evens out nicely IMO. For once I actually like one of hondas trucks and the interior looks nice too.

Looks like a cross between a Tundra and a Avalanche! I am cool with the Tacoma.
What will be really interesting to see is the '06 Civic. Honda better bring some serious mods so that they can better compete with Evos, WRXs, etc. The Civic, as it stands now, is gettin blown out of the market.

Rep Power: 0 Its not built by GMC... I believe Honda had agreements with Saturn/GMC that they make Honda engines for the Saturn etc while GMC made the design of the Ridgeline... Which is why it looks like an avalanche etc.

Rep Power: 250 Its ugly...period. I am a truck guy, and the only nice trucks are, Silverado SS, new F150, Ram(everyone has one though), new tacoma and of course the ranger, the avalanche look is just ugly, interior is nice though.

Anyway, Honda is a company that learns from whatever market it steps into. They used the Passport/whatever the rebadged Trooper was (SLX) to develop and produce the Pilot/MDX and they'll do the same thing with this.
