Worthwhile mods lets list mods that are (or are not) actually worth what they cost
I'm not a performance nut, so my taste is biased towards "show".
good:
17" rims
lip kit/body kit
short shifter kit
lowered suspension
tints
spoiler
aftermarket cd player and speakers
DIY painted interior trim
side markers (not the cheap ones that let you see screws)
bad:
intake
headers
exhaust system
any non-oem tail lights or headlights

lowering springs/OEM shocks

engine dressup kits if you have a slow stock car
small rims that you spend a lot of money on to have them look stock (just my opinion on this, i know they are lighter than mine)

good:
pretty much any piece that makes a good use
bad:
uneccessary items/pieces (spoilers, aftermarket head/tail lights, paint jobs when your factory paint is still fresh, having the best tires when your just driving from point A to B, mufflers?, bodykits?)
im not saying their worthless nor crap, my point is that they are uneccesary
