They're great, but I'd rather get a Corvette. I'd choose an SVT Cobra over a GTO though.

I know two people that have cobras. The Z06 and the C6 are the only challengers they have. I mean stock vs stock. My friend is constantly raced by modded camaros and firebirds. The standard heads, cams, intake, etc.. They are neck to neck with a cobra that has intake, exhaust and a solid rear. The IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) is extreamly weak. If you do get a Cobra and get some add ons I would get a solid rear.

the key word here is "supercharged" they were not supercharged until 2003
i'm in a car club with a few cobras and 2003 and up are supercharged, 2002 weren't

Its not GTR, its COBRA R. It was a $60K special edition. It was a 5.4L motor, 385 HP, no blower.

THe guy at the garage i worked at has one. a Black 2003 Cobra. That **** is BEASTY!!!! throw on a better pulley for that super charger and your in like high 11 territory. He's already running mid 12's stock! thats believable becuase my cousins basically stock SUPRA TT is running 12.8 stock.

03 and 04 are the only factory supercharged Cobras period. The 66 shelby GT350S could be order with a supercharger, very few were.

uhh no....i had a 94 5.0 cobra...no supercharger, wasn't even an option....my brother has a 98 cobra(bought brand new from Ford), no supercharger, not even an option...as far as Vortech and other supercharger companies, sure, they make supercharges for any year...
