Plus it's cheaper, AND, honestly, the 430 is not nearly as beautiful as the 360. Doesn't get much better than the 360, but the 430 got a bigger engine and a couple whacks with the ugly stick.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

I think the Ford GT should be considered an Exception it comes from a fine racing pedigree just like the ferrari. It actually outperforms the 360 modena on Top Gear's test track.

A buddy of mine in Houston just got his 430. He took it out to see how it would do against his 67 427 convertible vette. The vette spanked it off the line and kept ahead on city streets where speeds were limited to 75 mph or so.
I have no doubts the 430 would eat it alive on the twistys or at the top end...

I sure wish my car was newer

of course something that was made to run straight lines fast is faster than it in straight lines, but the F430 is incredibly nimble and can keep up with any mass produced street car on a track (no supercars like enzo and mclaren f1 though [but its about 1/6th the price of those])
wonder how it will hold up against the 360 challenge stradale?
the f1 tranny on the F430 has 5 different traction settings, ice, wet, sport, racing, and all off. just saw a video on it and this car is truly amazing. it also has a launch control button that allows for the best lauch from a dead stop posible. the guy driving it said it is a 100% improvement over the 360 modena.
i like the interior, alot nicer than the challenge stradales interior. 4.0 flat eh? not bad! it seems all the new ferrari's are only out-horsepowering each other by alittle bit each time.
I haven't driven an f430 so i can't compare it to the challenge i drove, but damn that thing looks nice.

4.3-liters and 490-hp(yeah that's about 114 hp per liter!), the power is suposed to be smooth and plentiful all the way to the 8500 rpm redline. the guy test driving it in the video i saw said there was more power than one could ever need at any speed/rpm. even the mirrors on the F430 were designed to direct air into the air ducts in the rear. This car is truly spectacular.

Also BE HONEST if I had the money for Ferrari 430 I would rather get a Lambo Gallerado It is such a better car.
