Around here, you have to be 25 to rent a car....especially a Ferrari. They do these incredible background checks and stuff. And if you get caught driving the car when someone else rented it.....you can spend time in jail.
Alex and I are gonna rent one for our wedding (whenever that is). No limo. Just a Ferrari. It's like $3000 for a day. 120 miles. In-state.
Here's the link to the place we are going to.

saw this on their site, thought it was funny:
The vehicles may not be used:
by anyone not licensed to drive or whose Driver's License has been suspended or restricted
for any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity
to carry persons or property for hire
to push or tow anything
to exceed any posted speed limits
in any speed test, speed contest, race, rally, speed endurance contest, demonstration, or on or near any racetrack or road course (we're serious about this -- no insurance company on earth will cover the car while on the track, and that means we're both on the hook for a LOT of money)
to teach anyone to drive
on any unpaved surface
In the event of a violation of these Prohibited Uses, we reserve the right to remotely disable and retrieve the vehicle.

"image if you are going like 100 mph and they remotely kill the engine and take it away from you. how much would that suck? they probally have GPS tracking on all of the cars so they can see how fast you are going and where it is at all times"
They definately have GPS. And hell, they might even have sensors for when the car turns on, turns off, accelerates, brakes, turns and when it goes past the pre-determined speed limit! And probably even a sensor for when the driver is experiencing T.M.A./T.M.F. (Too Much Adrenaline/Too Much Fun, a common symptom among car enthusiasts and enjoyers of life) once the rental headquarters gets this readout, they concur that there is too much fun going on! And they remotely stop the car while you are in it, lock you inside and dispatch a tow truck/cop car to the exact location of the car via GPS navigation.

Maybe she bought it cause Ferraris are probably the only newer cars that appreciate in value and she plans on selling it cause she got a good deal on it. You have to wait about a year for a ferrari once you order it. They customize it to you.

Wow, I thought for sure that was vinyl. I guess it tells you about how perfect the paint job was.
the Jeep is actually a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, it's not that old
It is actually pretty nice! it has custom front and back bumpers, side steps, lift kit, american racing rims, nice interior, and it's powerful :P An inline 6 cylinder 4.0 Litre engine that puts out 180 Hp and plenty of torque.
The primary reason for the purchase of the Challenge Stradale over the 360 Modena was obviously because 1. the car was obtained far below original price, and 2. What she and I both agree in this aspect is that, there are always going to be more modenas than Challenge Stradales. The Challenge offers quicker acceleration, lighter weight, and the fact that the car itself is more unique than it's predecessor.

I think you have to have some collateral to rent a Ferrari. Not positive but they aren't gonna rent one to a high school senior. But anyways....the rental fee is more like 300-400 dollars an hour. Enjoy.

awesome story!! one thing though, i think the racing stripes are hand painted on the ferrari. at least thats what i heard. oh and the bigger up-shift paddle is so you can shift up easier in a turn. also, this is what i read/heard.

i dont know why all of you think that no girl can drive a race car like its meant to be driven. there are PLENTY of women race car drivers that are kicking ***, and im sure there are just as many regular women that know how to drive also. i think its pretty stupid to assume that his mom wont drive the car like its meant to be driven just because shes a woman.
now, the fact that he referred to the car as an investment and a factor in getting that particular car was because it was more rare makes me think shes not gonna drive it, but not because shes a woman. thats just an ignorant thing to say.

I love how all of you are bagging on women driving sports cars...what are you guys, like 18, 19, 20 years old? I guarantee none of you are going to push the car to it's limits either, it's not like you are trained race drivers which is what it would take to push a RACE car to it's full potential.

I want to ride one... That would be awesome...
