Don't know what to do?

I need everyones opinion. I'm seriously thinking about selling my chrome rims for some lightweight alloy rims. I feel like my car is so slow b/c of my heavy rims and heavy system. My question is, what are some bad a$$ looking, lightweight rims. I kind of want them the gunmetal color or white.

Get some white rims, they should weigh a lot less, and looks great with a black

I agree withg the White rims...white rims look BAD *** on a blue, black or red car !! VolK Racing 17" are nice as hell, but pricey as hell as well. Or you could get some Konigs....they have a few rims that look nice !!

How much do you're rims weigh now and what do you consider light weight? I don't really think the rims make much of a difference. On the average, every 100 lbs. equals about .1 second off the 1/4 mile. As you can see by doing the math, just changing the rims won't make a noticable difference.

in response to what silverdevil said...

the weight of your wheels have a lot bigger impact on your acceleration than the weight of say, your sub in your trunk because your wheels are rotating, your sub is only being moved forward.
