Cool, but not the stock blue (no that there's anything wrong with that)...but if wanted that color you should have bought your civic with that blue...right???
But the 99-2000 Si blue is very, very, very, very nice!!!!!!
Blue Civic Si
The color is called "Electron Blue"...just in case you wanted to know...
I wonder if someone could photoshop the 2k1 with that color...i'm curious to see what it would look like...

yeah dude, eternal blue pearl is different than electric blue, i like the electric better, way better. almost got the EBP, but i went with NBP instead and i love it. but that would still be tight if someone had the money to get their 2k1 painted electric blue!

first of all what Si are u talking about? u probably live in canada i assume 2k1 Si coupe= 2k1 Ex coupe in US
well i think it's a pretty tight color but always remember dat it only looks good when the car is highly maintained, ex. polished, washed is very demanding, dis applies to all car colors.
secondly, i think the US 2k2 Si= Canada 2k2 SiR hatchback will be good to any color, but i prefer to get the silver, white........ black=gets ugly afterwards only looks bomb when new, red= a very biased color, depends on da shape of da car, in this case it doesn't look on da hatchback. don't buy the gold hatchback cuz it looks like crap.
i used to hate the Si hatcback but i started to like it but my point is, any car looks good on any color as long as its highly maintained.

I have been thinking long and hard about painting my SSM 2k1. Now I've pretty much decided that I want to paint it Lexus IS300 Solar Yellow. I know that yellow is a color that people are gonna love or hate, but I personally love that shade of yellow on the IS. What do you guys think?

It seems that my question wasn't too clear. I have a silver EX (U.S.), and I want to paint it Electron Blue.
Thanks Civic316, I wasn't sure of the exact name of that color.
Like antidote said, blue w/ white rims looks real good. There are a few SIs with white rims around here, but no 2k1s that color w/ the white rims.
I like the EBP and almost got it, but I didn't really like the interior. I like the way red looks with white rims, but my friend has a red '97 with white Tenzos.(I'd never hear the end of it if I copied)
Thanks for all the input!!
Hey Mokushi, I think that yellow would look sweet on a 2k1.

I think the Electron Blue would be totally sweet on a 2k1. I love that color! As for the Solar yellow... the first IS300 I saw was in that color and I almost ran a red light... it totally cought my eye!
It, also, would look pretty sweet on the 2k1. I'd say go for it... both of yas!

I was actually kind of disappointed that they don't have the colour Electron blue for the 2k1's.
Only colour 2k1's I see out there is either silver or black. Not much Taffeta White or Inca.
