ahh.... I think gearbox knows about this 1. I heard you can even get something like this at radioshack. Is this the same thing that tricks your computer that more air is coming in through the intake side and just dump in more fuel?

Crap. It even says, "THIS IS A RESISTOR." Search around for "resistor mod," you'll find it. Better yet, the title says "+20HP", further down the page, it says 10-15 HP. If they can't keep that straight, what makes you think it's worth it?

it's just like a simple resistor with the color bands of red red orange, or red orange gold.......you can get them from radioshack...5 for 99 cents

It's a resistor that makes your engine run rich all the time by fooling the iat sensor. So actually the car would become slower and use more gas because the ecu can't successfully calculate the correct a/f ratio.
