yes...he is great...and im going to marry him.....hehehe....the last time i seen him run he ran 8 seconds. he has the fastest front wheel drive in the world.....man..he and his car is hot....i took pics with him...but my friggin scanners messed up...ill post them later......
Can you post or send me some info on the Prelude engine swap !! I'd appreciate like a moda foca.
And someone said he's got the fastest front wheel drive in the world.....is his car faster than Kenny Trans Civic...??
I've seen him out at Texas Motorspeedway doing the quater in the low 9's. He also owns Jotech over here in North Dallas.
Just wondering ?????

Yeah, I didn't know hybrid Civics ran 8's. I thought low 9's was the fastest. Why would he put a Prelude motor in a g7 Civic and not a g6 or g5? g5 Civics especially hatchbacks, are the lightest. G7 are the heaviest. I 'm sure it's all stripped & gutted but I wonder if it's because the g7 chassis is stronger & stiffer than all the others and maybe that's why he went with g7. All that power to run 8-9 sec. in the 1/4 puts a lot of stress on the frame.
The race shop I go to for my GSR here in NYC, has a g6 Civic coupe ('96 I think) with a B18C (GSR motor) that ran high 9's. I was checking it out this summer while I was waiting for my car. This thing has nothing but bare metal inside except for the 1 seat. The suspension is all proprietary and hush hush (no patents on it yet). All the suspension components are custom made as well as the cross bars & roll bars. It put down 601hp at the wheels when they dynoed it this past spring! That's more than 700hp at the flywheel! They could 've gone faster but they said they melted the slicks before the 1/4, because they didn't use good ones, and they were wheel hopping all the way to the finish line! I think they said they ran 30 or 31 lbs of boost! Of course the B18C motor was all worked up. Nothing inside but the block was stock. Funny thing is, the race shop they dyno'd it at, is the one I went to also to dyno my Integra. Those guys told me when that race Civic was up on the dyno and going through several runs, they were all afraid that it might get unstrapped & take off.. It was scary they said, and this was coming from guys that dyno 400-500whp Supras every day. They were very impressed.. scared but impressed (they were probably laughing at my #s..)

<< he did it man papadakus put a H22A Prelude engine into his 7th gen civic hes like running under 10's right now man >>
Dood...its barely a 7th gen body...look at how the engine is mounted!! I think its somewhere near 2.5L, Cool eh! Its a Carbon Fibre body of a 2001 Civic, but it is a Chrome-moly tube frame chassis.
<< why do you suppose he chose a prelude enging?? >>
Ever heard the term, 'theres no replacement for displacement'.
Yes its way faster than Kenny Tran!! His fastest ET is 8.12@180mph...hes gonna hit 7's next year!! Garanteed!!
Its not a 7gen.. fast drag cars dont use the same body.. and its all stripped up so it probably weighs like 1500 pounds. they just imitate teh cars they wana imitate
Yea he runs 8s in the 1/4 with that tuned up H22.

Yeah people. It's a tube frame chassis, with cf civic "looking" body. Either way, it's a 2K1 isn't it?!?! That **** is fast as all get out, and my car aspires to be like it. LoL!!
papadakis and kubo's cars are tube framed and only the shell is made to look like a production car (ala nascar's taurus and pontiac's grand am)...honda is a big sponsor of papadakis that's why he's got a 7g shell...adam sutawarahi was given an nsx and has honda as a big sponsor...the h22a in his 6g was a older block used b/c of it's closed design (stronger block for forced induction)...wondering if it's the same engine in the new car
hey what ever happened to the meguliar's focus?...has it broken the 10's yet?...all i heard was how the focus was going to take the fwd racing crown and had so many reliability problems that it went nowhere (never even won a competition)
