IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. -- A South Bay resident who shot two boys in the legs Friday when he caught them breaking into his car was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, authorities said.
Shunrick Howard, 23, grabbed a gun and went outside when he heard glass breaking and saw his vehicle's dome light on outside his home on Holly Avenue in Imperial Beach about 12:50 a.m., sheriff's Lt. Dennis Brugos said.
