What car would you choose??
Ok, I might be considering another car... IF the boss lets me!
Anyway, what would you choose?
Acura RSX?
Subaru Impreza WRX STi ?
Nissan 350Z?
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution?
I think those would be my only choices to pick from so far. I am tired of this Honda and need more power. Oh yea, my next car will be a manual tranny too. It's time for something fun folks! I'll try selling my Honda outright and see what happens even though the tranny feels broke. Hopefully I won't get sued...
Personally I like the Subaru so far. Any thoughts or comments?
In the end I will get what I want but I would just like opinions to rule out maybe some major issues or things I may not have thought of.
Thanks gang!

if i had a choice, it'd be the acura rsx-s because i always wanted that car since 02. im guessing insurance would be cheaper for that car out of those 4 and its honda =D that car has a lot of potential with reliability to back it up with. i know the other 3 will spank the rsx stock vs stock. but in money terms, the rsx-s can be a crazy performance machine with the right mods.
nissan 350z is way out of range. its a sexy car but i dont think i'd ever look into one

350z, always loved nissan v6's, im a rwd junkie, and i think its the sexiest out of all those choices. the sti would be my next choice though, cuz who doesnt like 7grand dumps, besides the dealer
OK. By BOSS I'm to assume you mean woman. Here's my opinion if money and other issues are not to influence the decision.
After all the hipe about these cars, I think I would go for the EVO. Why you ask? Well, the WRX, although extremely nice, is all too common on the road now. At least in this area I see them all the time. Mom's drive them, high school kids drive them, I even saw a grandma driving one the other day. Same goes for the RSX. That being said, I would still drive both the WRX and RSX.
EVO: This bad boy is sweet as hell. There is no mistaking that big *** intercooler. You know she means business. I think I have seen one or two at most around here since their birth to the USA. I don't know of this thing is going to be your daily driver but I think there is more interior room than both cars. Thats a plus if you ever need to put your new KID in the back seat...LOL. The aftermarket scene is plentiful for the EVO. Maybe not as much as the RSX but plenty for my taste. Those may not be some of the best answers ever, but that's why I would get one. If money were the issue, which it is for me and that's why I belong the 7th Gen club and not the EVO/STi club, RSX screams great price and KILLER potential. It's gonna take more money to improve that STi and EVO than the RSX. It's been known that I/H/E alone will greatly engance that sweet sweet K20A2. Hope I helped a little.............One last thought, Spend 21-22 on the RSX and dump the rest of the money (that would make up the difference in prices on the STi and EVO) on performance parts. Super/Turbo/I-H-E/Suspension. I kind of like that idea. GOOD LUCK

I know it's not on your list, but I would get the Infinity G35 Coupe man. Badass nice luxury car, super nice interior, i love the stock exhaust, it's got bawls and very stylish. Not to mention the lady friends will like it more than seeing the wrx or evo. Most chicks dont know jack about cars and when they see the big wing on back of the WRX or the EVO they just laugh and make fun of it. You get them into a nice Infinity, yah i think you'l be getting some *** that night. Go for the Infinity G35 Coupe all the way!!!
go with the sti or the z...both are awesome cars! i love the rsx, but if i had a chance to get one of those 3, i'd go with the z or the sti. forget the evo...mitsu has too many issues

The EVO is the real deal but it lacks any type of interior IMO. Plain and boring if you ask me so that's why I prefer the Subaru over it. I don't know about the RSX, I mean just how much power can ya get from that engine? True, some mods might get it a tad quicker but it kinda reminds me of the Civic, not alot to work with?
I don't want to be in the same boat I am in now the more I think about it. To add, I want a car I won't have to mod, so I am going more for stock to be honest. I'm tired of trying to make a car into something it's not. IE: Civic = Race Car.
I really don't have the time, patience, tools to mod cars. Been there, done that.. tired of it. I want it out of box from now on.
And yes, the Boss is the wife. So I am not trying to impress the girls anymore. Remember... Married with Children!! Just call me Al. I want a car I like, not what the girls like... who cares! If you need a ride to get a girl, well then... something's wrong with that picture. I am not going to spend 30k to get chicks.
$200 can buy a chick in most cities. Hehe...
Aaaannyway, thanks for the comments so far, it's been fun!

Out of the list you have I would choose the STI.
I am not a big fan of coupes.
Every female I've asked said that the Evo looks like a boy racer car where as the STI looked a little more manly.
Go sit in an STI and rev it up...it sounds so sexy!!!
Here are some other choices within the 30K range.
Used Jaguar XJR - Supercharged 4.0L V8 with 370hp/387ft-lbs.
Used MB C32 AMG - Supercharger 3.2L V6 with 349hp/332ft-lbs.
Used BMW 540I - 4.4L V8, 282hp/324ft-lbs, 6-speed Manual
Used MB E55 - Supercharged 5.4L V8 with 349 hp/391 ft-lbs
I was planning on buying a car in the 30K range too and to my surprise these cars were available.

look at the tests that the STI and EVO went through. Even car and driver did one .... last month maybe? And the EVO still continues to win the tests. Even with less HP and Torque.
If you want nothing but speed stock.... evo.
I guess it all depends on what your objective is for the car.
A daily driver....?
One to modify greatly?
One to keep stock?
Reliabilty?
etc etc etc.
out of all of them though.... rsx-s would come in last place for me. Too many people have them around me. I see probably handfulls each day around me.
