You sure the miles were not rolled back. Does the car have a record of oil changes at the dealer.
Well if everything is kosher on the car and its in good condition I'm assuming its a 2001 I'd say a fair offer would be in between $14,900 - $15,900(According to MSN)

You got a good point
speaking of integra type r
this old old lady who lives near me drives a MINT MINT MINT! condition type r

buy type r, debadge it and put up a gs badge. also put a little rice on it and take the wing off. everyone will think your a ricer whom has done a type r conversion with a decent paint job.
that is the best way and most reasonable to protect your type r when its not parked at home. when you go to meets, slap the wing back on and put up the badges.

and more, for those of you who say an alarm may be enough lol, wrong. A couple of hoods who know nothing about stealing cars can ambush you when you come to turn the alarm off and violar they have ITR. and if you were carrying a gun, chances are, they are gonna get it too. by the time the cops respond, they are on the highway in another city, atleast here in dfw. sayonara sucker, your ITR is either going south of the border or to a chop shop to make some tuner really really happy to get some ITR parts. the shell, if you still care for it will prolly be under a lake or in a junkyard.

Type -R's are too rare... there dont even have anymore in NYC.... reason being, either all in the junk yards, or all stolen & then stolen again, and then stolen again........

the reason everyone wants an integra type-R is the misconception that an integra type-R roxors teh big 11111one. AKA a bunch of ricers see that the type r means more hp stock and think its the best car ever made. thats it. i know the integra type-r is more than that but i really dont care. its still an integra. its still not as nice a an rsx type-s. The car is getting old.
From what I've read, the ITR (with the exception of the Mazdaspeed Protege) is the best handling FWD car ever produced. It utilizes parts of the 88 CRX suspension.
Don't get me wrong, they're cool cars, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find one. Too many riceboys are going to want to be your friend. I'd get something a little more low key...

A friend of mine has a REAL yellow type-r with a JDM front end conversion, no back anything (seats, panels, etc.) w/ a roll cage and racing seats. Everything else is stock except for an Vtec inside sticker -=oÞ. He fears for it everytime hes drives it out. I personally would love to have one, but I don't think it is worth all the headaches.
But yeah, depending on year and condition ~$16k-$20k

Now this is just outrageous. You'd have to be on crack to spend that much on a car like that.
