it should be legal, it's just a spoiler brake light, and as long as it lights up. i'd question the legality of tinted tails, but not the spoiler...JMO
as long you have your 2 taillights, then it shouldn't be illegal. if theirs leds or anything like that on the spoiler light, then it could be illegal.

The third brake light is important, smokin it will make it harder to see, and honestly its important to be seen from behind because even though you may not be responsible if someone rear ends your but you could be scared for the rest of your life with back pain.

rule is that the person behind u must be able to see ur brake lights from 500 feet away. i myself blacked out my tailights put about 14 coats on them and at night its basically the same just daylight is a bit tougher
