Even my Mum has i-VTEC!!!

It is a 4x4 but come on. 2.0 i-VTEC CRV she says it is quick not seen it yet but it sounds nice.
She has been driving it like her Deisel Picasso she traded in so I've told her to take it up to redline in 3rd to see what happens.
Seemingly it is front wheel drive till front wheels slip then 4 wheel drive engages. Sounds like fun!!

When it comes to trucks/SUVs, nothing beats a Chevy/GMC.

whats that supposed to mean? my dad has a 2002 MDX and the 4wd on that thing is awesome. obviously not comparable to range rovers and such but it goes places where x5's and ml430's can't.

jeep owns them. i know its off topic i apologize... sorry

and my comment about honda 4x4's being a joke, i shoulda stated about most suv's these days being a joke, because they arent meant for any kind of off roading except gravel roads. but honda making a 4x4 is just silly sounding, as silly as say lexus making a "4x4" or say porsche making a "4x4".

take a crv/mdx to a 4x4 meet and see if you dont get your *** kicked.
im not tryin to be rude btw.

^^ yea at an actual 4x4 trail, im sure the MDX will get whooped. but im talking about a good amount of snow and rainy conditions. last winter my MDX went through a good amount of fresh snow, using the vtm-4 lock (forgot how many feet, think its about 2 but not sure). anyway, after i plowed the way, an ml430 still couldnt get through. im sure a jeep beats an MDX in 4wd capability but i wouldnt go as far as saying honda 4x4 sucks because it beats the crap out of alot of its high end competitors.

Chances are your MDX just has different tires/more ground clearance than an ML430.

Most SUV's do pretty much the same in snow with identical tires.

You gotta get a jeep or a truck to see a REAL 4x4 machine. (Jeep owns all!! I miss mine!)

MDX's are great for what they're meant for, along with most of the typical SUV's. They're not meant for goign off-roading, if you want that, get a jeep. But as for snow and all that, my dad's MDX did a great job. He just put a deposit down for the all-new RL since he likes AWD but doesnt really have a need for an SUV. Cant wait to drive the beast.
