Well, i got this part time gig on the side doing valet for special events.

ten an hour so not bad and lots of jobs but no committment perfect for school.

Heres a selection of the about 100 vechiles I parked

Porchce Carrara GT2
Cadilliac STS
Too many bmw's to name
a couple AMG merc's
lots of suv's but those were no fun.
and some older jags that had a decent feel to em.

after redlining first gear on every one of these cars it made it real difficult getting back into my auto civic, but hey, and ten an hour plus some pretty decent tips, a job ill definatly keep through university

I have the same job with same pay! Gotta love it eh! Pays well cuz theres no tax on it, and its fun and easy.

The other day i was lazy, so i parked and brought back a total of 6 cars, sat around chillin on lawn chairs with my boys for the rest of the night, and got paid for a full 8 hours!

the only cars i would ever redline would be ferraris and the porsche. then again im too afraid to get fired so i dont think i would the porsche, only a ferrari.

to be fair most cars had tiptronic that wouldn't let you do anything too dangerous.

also drove a few saab's, must say was impressed

a lot of the times I dont even know exactly what kind of car im driving because we park in reverse and were expected to run to and from cars for customers [part of the show for tips ] and dont have tim e to check out hte badge

I had to start this one mercedes benz, and I figured the key was vw style where it flipped out, so I pressed this litte button that said push and the key wouldn't fold out, then I relized it has that infrared ignition ****, haha made me feel like a real idiot.


FYI. Forget momo steering wheels, Mohagony (however its spelt) is where its at!

The only thing I hate about parking far from people, is that they can break into your sh**, and if your alarm goes off, not as many people will hear it, so if I am running in somewhere quick, I park between the most expensive cars I can find, preferably w/rims. Hondas\Acuras have respect most of the time. Like opening doors into your car, damnit.

Watch out bro because I've seen on Motor Trend once that their is this gadget you can buy and hook up to your car to actually find out how "hard" parking valet are toying with your car...That sh..t records how you drove the car once you past a certain RPM and you can take the info back to the hotel or whatever and sue for property abuse....so just stay safe.

Saab had nice tight hadeling but lacked the pick up ive come used to
the G35's had such a sexy purrrrr
VW, decent little push, wasn't overly impressed (meh mexican VW's :P)

got a job tommorow too.

Guys another well paid job is stocking beer on the weekends for whole sale, I do bout 10 hours of work and get $250, how can i get a job doing valet parking, like who do you talk to?

i got my valet job through a friend of mine... He got it through his brother...His brother got through some friends he made at university. Story probably goes on and on but I didnt bother asking my friend and his brother
Maybe just look in the yellow pages for some valet companies and call them asking if they need some drivers.
