yeah, thats nice...gets to be a PIA tho with all those 180 degree turns i imagine.

there are some roads in CA that are amazing! rt 1/101 and some others through the redwood forests and on the pacific coast...amazing roads!!

road is pretty wide though, 4 car width on corners
about 2-3 car width on straights

i wonder if it's a oneway, down/uphill

I'm pretty sure they didnt have initial d in mind, or any drifting when building/driving on that road.

Nice view, but I think it would get annoying making all those turns. It's not like you could safely go fast down it.

I'm from the "Redwood Curtain"! The best places to drive around there are highway 39 going to Ruth Lake, 299 going to Redding and 399 going from Crescent City to Grants Pass, Ore. The drives are outstanding though. Highly recommendable if you want to get away for a couple hours, or take someone out on a romantic drive/getaway!

Went down some roads like that in Greece, though not as steep, by the time we were down after about a week of driving we'd completely worn the break pads out on our rental Hyundai, so much that apparantly that we were told by the auto mechanic that it was caliper rubbing against the rotor. It made an awful sound, when you're a few thousand feet up on a mountain side and your car is making sounds like that it scares the shyte out of you...

I've seen a pic of that before. It makes Logan Pass in Montana look simple.

Speaking of which, Logan Pass in Glacier National Park is an incredible drive. It is just as breathtaking...
