Check the power/weight ratios before making any comparisons.

edit:
RL
HP - 300
Curb weight - 3900 lbs (2004)
13 lbs/hp
Evo
HP - 271
Curb weight - 3260 lbs
12 lbs/hp
Advantage . . . . EVO.

I'm not trying to be a b*tch, but I think thats how the car mags usually do it?
I wonder what the 0-60 and 1/4 times of new type-s are going to be like.
Are these features designed to get more hp to the wheel?
High performance camshafts
Larger intake duct
Large diameter exhaust pipe
High-flow catalytic converter
I wonder what the 2005 Type S is gonna dyno cause the previous year model dynos about 173hp and 125lb-ft of torque.

Power to weight ratio . . . means the same thing either way you calculate it. Either way, a certain number of HP per pound, or pounds per HP is given. Would you rather see whole numbers in pounds per HP, or small fractions for HP per pound? I just posted a simple answer to see which would be moving less weight per HP output.
But, if you want power to weight. . . here you go:
RL: 0.076923076923076923076923076923077 HP/LB
(truncated) 0.076 HP/LB
EVO: 0.092024539877300613496932515337423 HP/LB
(truncated) 0.092 HP/LB
You tell me what's easier to read.
I remember test driving the current 2004 RL. It's really... heavy. It's not really performance oriented. It's really granny oriented. An RSX-S would seriously beat it and it's $50,000.
Everything else outside of performance, it bests the RSX though. I could sleep in the back of an RL whereas I would find myself paralyzed and cramped in the back of an RSX.
