what would be a good bmw to buy, a 01 3 or a 5, I mean as far as reliability

all bmws are good to buy, its all based on personal preference. everyone is going to give you different opinions. you have to see for yourself personally. test drive both of the cars and see which suits you best. 5 series cost more than a 3 of course, so im assuming their better than the 3 in all conditions (exclude price).

as for reliability, im guessing the 5 since its more pricey than the 3. its usually the higher the price you pay for, the more you get out of it.

I remember a source stating that the 5 series was the first series from BMW and it therefore had the most research gone into it, making it the most refined BMW series.

I say get an m3 just because they look so pimp
