what an idiot. drifting in public during daylight is bad enough since it sacrafices* other peoples/drivers lives around you. and then this person does it during night time where when the car is during its "drift" position, the driver wont be able to see well enough to know whats ahead and what not.

Anyone notice it was a reidencial area also...what if the car hopped a curb and went into a little girls room and killed her?
I don't know why it is called "common sense" when it ibviously isn't all that common.

rofl...he prolly flipped the car hitting the curb sideways...prolly why she yelled out ****....man i drifted into a curb b4...we went in head on into the curb...its now a residential area but when we did it, it wasnt (still under development) we were drifting into a street where the street goes left (like a left turn) than straight down but with smaller streets making "T" intersections down the street...we took that very first left drifting at about 40 making a clean drift so our exit speed in that corner was incredibly fast for an area with curbs around...than trying to make another left turn drift there was a jaguar parked on the street which is never there...it just happend to be there that 1 day (we've done this multiple times on the same streets)...so we did not want to run into the jag because everytime we went into that corner we got close to the curb while drifting...so hitting that jag would have made our airbags come out and cause major damage to both cars which was something we did not want...there was also a driveway being build there so a way up...but the last obsticle was a light post in which we go up the curb into the light post which would be almost as bad as hitting the jag...so quik thinking without any other options while trying to slow down and stop we hit the curb with our front tires right one first than left going about 35 mph because we had accelerated a little bit b4 that whole thing after that first drift...the front 2 knuckles were bent to hell the 2 front tires held up and didnt pop but the steelies were bent to hell...rear right tire popped due to heat stress from going sideways and hitting the curb when we went on top of it (it was the last tire to hit, the driver left side rear tire didnt get any contact with the curb)...so while on top of the curb and sidewalk we were both like wtf just happend....we were lucky no airbags popped and there was no body damage
luckily this was near my house so the car was BARELY i mean BARELY able to roll back home...called triple A next day got a tow truck to take it down to the dealership...they quoted $3000 in damage $1600 in parts $1400 in labor...we thought this was rediculous so we wanted to know what costs so much...turns out that we needed to replace 2 control arms, 2 knuckles, the subframe, 3 rims, 4 tires, and thats all i can think of...we had hit the curb just a tad bit too hard so it bent the subframe out of shape so new knuckles would not fit...
we did not want to have the dealership do the repairs because labor price was rediculous even tho it had to deal with hoisting the engine out to replace the damn subframe...
we have a friend out in orange county who does auto body and other repairs so we took the car to him...but before that we had to get triple A to get the car from the dealer ship to OC...but honda on their own did not want to release our car because they were being bitches about making up bullshit excuses like "its honda policy that we have to hold the car"...we knew it was bullshit but my bro and I had no way to get there to make them release the car...so a few phone calls were made and they finally release the car 4 days later after we told them first because they were being bitches...since the guys at the dealership got pissed off we werent doing the $3000 repairs there they felt like giving us a little dent in the fender passenger side front by punching it...when the car got to OC repairs took 2 days (1 to find a new 04 civic subframe from an 04 which was totalled in las vegas, and 1 to do the repairs)...our hook was able to fix it for $1800, 1600 in parts and 200 labor...well now we got the car back all fixed and looking new but with a fender dent which we could do nothing about because we we'rent there when honda released the car and our hook got the car with the dent in it...oh well whats done was done...we got 3 new rims 1 new tire 3 repaired tires, a realignment for free, a new subframe, and 2002 civic ex hubcaps...never again will we be drifting with our civic until it is completely finished and at a track...dont EVER i mean EVER drift around curbs EVER!!!!!!
