if you look at the sheets in the windows at the dealerships, it says you can get to 51 mpg.. that is, if you drive like a grandma.. i think the range for our civics was 7-51mpg...
in any case, i get like.. 380 per tank..

I got about 39-40 mpg today, driving around 65 on U.S. 95 and about 70-75 on I-90. From where I live, it took me a tank and a half to reach Seattle (about a 13-hour drive.)
Nobody really knows how many miles they are getting to the gallon unless they can see the fuel coming out of the tank when they fill it up because They always stop at different levels with the Automatic shut off features. If you have it coming out the fuel tank and filler hose you can get about 500 miles or more on a tank. MT EX
^ I did that once with my 02 EX M/T Coupe. It stopped, and I pushed an extra half a gall on in. I drove to San Diego in a little bit over three fourth of a tank. 55mph on the freeway( I was in no rush) No air, just the sunroof open. I hit 295 miles at the half a tank mark. What the hell happened to it after that I have no idea. I hit 400miles with a little less than a fourth of a tank. I dont get it. I did almost 300 miles in half a tank, yet, I drove the same way and I got only 150 miles for the rest of the tank. I think the gauges are f*ucked up in those cars, lol. Oh, and it was with Chevron 91(best gas ever!) Now with my 04 Civic Si, I only get about 350 a tank. Which is still good. Considering that i-Vtec is pretty active on the freeway

If you go to the same station, then the shutoff thing doesn't matter. I've noticed consistent numbers around 22-24mpg all the time in the city.
My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

I always get around 32, and it's mostly rush hour and city driving. I do go to the same station and same pump every time (Sunoco 94 rules). My aunt has the HX, and on she drives 45 miles one way to work all highway and generally get 50-55 MPG. But she drives slower than grandma (then agian grandma drives an Integra Type-R, so most people do drive slower than her).
