Man, this crap's exhausting...

General b^tching session on...

Ok, so I get up around 8:30 with a bit of a hangover...shower, eat, hit the road.

1) Go to the install place to have the tint guy look at the mosquito he trapped under the tint on the passenger side. Tells me he can take care of it Tuesday. Cool. I ask about a blue LED scanner for my alarm, he shows me a few, I'll probably pick one up on Tuesday as well.

2) Go buy window wipes, gloves, a few other things at Walmart for use later in the day when I clean the car.

3) Get lazy, use a car wash token for the high-end touchless wash.

4) Grab lunch, jump on this site for a bit.

5) Go to Autozone, buy clear coat spray for my door handle project.

6) Go back to work (where I have a shop I can use). Take off the interior door handles, tape the chrome parts, apply primer coat one.

7) Go out to the car, use some water and microfiber towels to get any spots the wash missed.

8) Come back into the shop, apply primer coat two, wait 15 minutes, apply coat three.

9) Go out to the car, apply NXT wax.

10) Come back in, apply paint coat one.

11) Go buff off wax from step 9.

12) Come back in, apply paint coat two.

So now I'm here, waiting to apply coat three. Then the clear coat. Clean the wheels and tires while I'm waiting, plus maybe the windows.

The car looks great, I want to go out tonight and show it off, but I might be too f^cking tired from getting it that way!!!!!!!!

General b^tching session off.

Went out to clean the tires, found my valve caps gone. Damn kids.

I don't know why I feel so strongly about it, but if I ever catch anyone near my car, even just doing stupid sh^t like that, I think I'd seriously beat them.

Ok, since this is turning into Scooby Central (anybody else need a Scooby snack?)...

A while back I saw what looked like an early episode of Scooby Doo where the drug and lesbian jokes were a lot more blatant. The animation still looked like it was the same time period, but it was rougher than the majority of episodes...maybe a pilot or something? Anybody seen this besides me?

Never posting high on paint and hungover again...

I'm never posting high on paint fumes and hungover again.

Had my mind on valve covers since I was looking at prices on-line, meant to type valve CAPS.

Thanks for pointing out that I can't multi-task after inhaling a few cans of enamel.

I saw the lighted kind, mainly for bikes. Do cops pull ya over with those on car wheels? I never actually saw anyone who had them on cars. I think they even pull over motocycles who have them. At least I heard they did.

Just thought I'd ask since we are talking stem covers.

Never did the lighting thing...if I end up doing any lighting around there, I'd be looking at Varad's suspension lighting setup.

All I had were shiny ones instead of the black plastic ones. Damn kids.
