hey guyz... I was at the dealer today for a few hours and we talked #'z and stuff.....tommarow my bro might pick up a leguna seca blue m3...with custom leather...its the leguna seca blue with black trim....and its basically full loaded whats your opinions on it..im excited as hell its my favorite car :-) if he gets it tommarow i'll post up pictures...we just need to check with insurance to see how much it's gonna be for him.

i think insurance will be around 3 grand but im not 100% sure....he'z 23 now...and he'z got excellent credit...he'z an investment banker...my hopes are just that he'll let me drive it :-)

if he's not 25 i'd expect insurance to be above 3k. on mustangs it can be 3500, and thats no m3. but then again, insurance is one massively puzzling formula

I love m3s my friend has a e46 2003 he put BBS LMs on it :O. About the 2k4 the thing I like about the M series is pretty much the whole car can be customized to wat you want. As for the color Laguna Seca is sweet but Alpine White blows it away! The LSB interior is pimp I hope your bro choose his interior and options cuz that's the fun part when buying a M at least I thought so when I picked a bunch of options when my friend bought his. Good luck on insurance my friend pays 9,000CAD a year .

well we just did a test online it said 3 grand for the stuff he wanted...im assuming it will be about 4-5 grand considering he has 1 accident....but colors its at the dealer waiting LSB with LSB interior with black trim...I fell in love when I saw it cuz its my favorite car...im just hoping he'll let me drive it once in awhile :-) go from no power...to ultimate power

insurance will be insane...im 22 and out of college and looked at getting a 350z and its pretty insane...until youre 25 youre pretty much ****ed...ill be starting at 65k a year or so, so icould afford it, but id rather save the money id pay on insurance and use it as a down or aftermarket parts for a dope car when im 25

Yo, your brother is going to absolutely LOVE that car. I have yet to see anyone car lover drive (or even just ride in) an M3 and NOT fall in love instantly. Of course there are those people who expect to get the luxury quality of a BMW and then after they drive it, compain that the ride is too "bumpy" or "stiff" LOL Guess they don't know anything about this car and its suspension (best handling car under $100k).

My dad's got an E36 Techno Violet M3.. and I get to drive it quite often. That thing is a beast, fast accel and amazing handling. It's truly a driver's dream come true

Before picking Silver Grey Metallic, I almost went with Laguna Seca Blue. My Civic is Eternal Blue Pearl so I didn't want it to be all blue driveway, hehe. I'm getting an Alpine White M5 in the fall

its definitely not the best handling under 100K. Lotus Elise, Zo6, probaly Sti or EVo. Nice definitely, but not the best.

yeah, I sat in one at the Mall of Georgia the other day and they are SEXY. I love the seats, and the interior feels like you could operate everything blindfolded, its just designed so well.

I love the e36 M3...Its like a wolf in sheep's clothing. However, I think that the e46 is tacky as all hell, the widebody, quad outlet exhausts and fender grills look so nasty when compared to some 330ci's. Its also one of the most played out cars on the road. There are between 5-8 on my level of my apartment parking lot alone. And i see at least 10 on any given day. It doesnt have nearly the same appeal anymore...

alpine white and imola red are nicer colors than laguna seca blue. Matte blue shouldnt belong on a car costing more than 50 grand when scions get blue pearlescent paint.

Insurance is only insane if you let it be. The main problem is with new financed cars yu have to have full insurance. But otherwise its really your record that matters. Do a defensive driver course it will knock off points and lower you insurance.

I priced a new M3 and insurance at one point for myself. My insurance would have almost doubled... from $1200 USD a year to $2300 USD a year. Add to that a $600 car payment and I said, sorry I canot sell my organs to afford this car.

as for the insurance I know all that matters is age and accident I was just speaking overall for payements and everything
