Rep Power: 453 People always fall for the buy now, pay later deal. Not knowing that during the time that you dont pay, interest is building. So instead of making $300 payments in the beginning, they make $800 payments when they start paying. Dealers love doing that because they make more money, and so does the bank. But if you think you can do it, then go ahead. I think it is stupid though. You are just waisting money that you could spend for something else.
yeah i understand what youre saying, but maybe you dont get what im saying...my parents owe 10k on my civic so they said theyd pay 10k towards a different car...so theyd make about the first 2 years of payments which would be about 10k...so payments would be made...and then after i had 2 years of a job and saving id take over and be responsible for the rest...

Rep Power: 453 Well thats different. I think you would better be off by using the 10k as a down payment. Because if you dont put a down payment on a 30k car, your payments are going to be well over $400. your call though. And by putting the 10k down, you can have payments around what I pay for my civic.
you gotta think smart though man, I know you are excited to get a nice luxury car, but if you play your cards right, you can have a luxury car with cheap payments. The way you are doing it, you are going to have expensive payments. I know you will be making alot, but think of the money you could save in the end.
