Hey since theres more of u guys around the forums( compared to my s2k forum where no one is around) i got a question to ask. what do you all think of cutting the resonator off from my s2000 exhaust and replacing it with a pipe. i can get it done for 40 bucks.

go half way down where johnny--s2k posted a 15 sec vid of his S with out the resonator. let me know how it sounds. maybe i can do it for the my01 dx later.

it probably wont give you much more sound if you are running stock exhaust. Maybe a little bit though.

ur car is goin to be much much and i mean much louder... with no performance improval.. and ur gettin to get pulled over a lot.. unless u have a good silencer dont do it.. i would suggest just get a catback.. if u want something loud and deep get apexi n1...

it is not going to be much much louder. You still have the stock muffler quiteing the exhaust down. I have done this before on my old car and there was a little bit of a sound change, but not much.

i did it on my civic with an aftermarket muffler which was really really quiet and not so noticable... after i cut out my resonator it sounded so much louder and nicer its unbelieveble but i got pulled over for it once.. and even got a ticket..

You are stupid it is just the stock exhuast it isn't gonna be so loud that he can't drive it. What a dumb . Sure there won't be performance gain but to actually think this is gonna be louder then your mom screaming while I am poping her poonany is ludacris!
