2005 BMW M5 Pictures
you couldn't cram any more under the hood if you tried. then again a 92 x 75 V10 tends to do that. Any one know if thats a catalyst right after the headers or a resonator? The 02 sensor is right there so i am guessing they're close coupled cats. Ditch those things! Ditch the airboxes! rework the plumbing and stick two turbos on that baby! give it a year and i am sure someone will do it.

Those headers look wild! Of course, they don't have much space to work with, but damn. German engineers never cease to amaze me. What a beautiful looking car. The first Chris Bangle-designed car I can look at for more than 30 seconds AND retain my lunch.

For $75,000, it'll be a little while before I think about getting one. They are comming out with a M6 and an M2. It'll be interesting to see what the numbers are.

I saw one of those when I was in Seattle for a car show a while back... the guy opened it up for a quick stretch and the howl from the exhaust was amazing

Man that car is seriously amazing... those headers alone are marvels of engineering...
I counted about 350 individual parts for that engine.... sick

WOW... its gorgeous. This is BMWs reply to the Mercedes C55. C55 does 0-60 in 5.2. M5 will do it in 4.9. I wouldn't be surprised if mercedes comes out with something more powerful than this M5! Mercedes never settles for 2nd place.

good car

& the rear lights of the new 5s are more kia than a beamer...
