ahh, glad to see so many comments. i got a giggle out of them. as for the "i don't feel sorry for you" comments, honestly, does it look like i want sympathy? i didn't think so, and as for the "people like you raise everyones insurance" comments, okay.. let me ask you one question. we drive small, plastic cars. i've seen even small wrecks where Civics get torn into pieces, so going down a big hill, with a rocky mountain side right next to you, would you want someone going 70-90 hitting you from behind and spinning you into the mountain? don't think so. it basically came down to this..
do i trust my own driving ability to drive fast enough to be able to get to the bottom of the hill ahead of him so i can slow down and switch lanes..
or
do i trust a guy, that obviously doesn't care to risk wrecking or rear-ending someone, to slow down and not hit me?
rather you agree or not, i'm not trusting a guy that rides that close to me, to not hit me and knock me into a hill. it was a split second decision, and i did what i thought gave me the best chance to not be hurt. it wasn't a "Fast and Furious" stunt, it was me attemtping to avoid a collision. i'll call tomorrow and see when i have court.. i'll keep everybody updated.

that sucks man, but it happens, its a learning lesson in this crazy daily **** called life. Im so used to getting screwed over by things i do i dont even worry about it because theres always tomorrow, and if tomorrow sucks theres the next day. But good luck whatever goes down in the future man....and my only advice save it for the track, a life isnt worth it
Funny how 90% of the people that wrote negative comments race, speed, or drive reatrded...
Anyways, sorry to hear Jeremy. Get in touch and be friends with bus drivers, they let you on for free!lol. **** happens Jeremy.

Friend of mine got busted street racing. Got out of it without even being hassled by the cop much just because he had a military id.
It sucks that you got caught, but everything will work out in the end. Whether good or bad, it will work out. Later.

I'm glad they took away your license. Hope you learn some lesson from this mess.

So first off ...You asked cocky a few questions having to do with his girlfriend..and being his girlfriend I thought I would answer them for you...
#1. Sure you've got a "girl" in your life for now, but for how long?
Well for you information I'm going to be in his life forever...
I'm not going to leave him just because he "might" not be able to drive..how dumb would that be...I don't love the guy for what he drives...I love him for him..duh!! and #2. Is she going to want to drive you around forever? To work, to the movies, etc.?
Yes I will drive him to work and anywhere else he might want to go because I'm a good girlfriend like that...thank you!!
...also you said that you were glad they took his license away...well they have not even taken it and I'm sure they won't because really he was not even doing anything, but trying to get away from a car who was riding his a$$ around a dangerous area. Really he was just looking out for both him and his friend (Frankie) who was in the car!! The cop just decided to be a d*ck and give him a bunch of bull Sh*t tickets!!
So before you want to go on about his life and how much of a so called "loser" you think he is going to be now that he "might" not have a license..maybe you would like to find out the whole story of what happened ..So you don't seem like such an A$$!!
oh yeah and just to let everyone know...out of all the tickets he has ever had..this is his first one for speeding..The rest was for little stuff that should not be on his car..like underbody lights and tint on his windows...I'm sure everyone that posted about what a "bad driver" he is have all gotten one speeding ticket...
GRRR...people make me mad!! I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a b*tch or anything!! I'm not trying to be at all..I just wanted to put how i felt about everything!!

At least your taking it in stride, there's not much more you can do. Perhaps there's a lesson to be learned. This reminds me of the movie Liar, Liar:

Cocky, your in some serious denial. Not having a car sucks ***. Having to rely on others to get around puts you back to when you were a young kid with no license. Aw well. You'll be fine in a few years I suppose.
I still dont get it though, why didnt you just pull over to the side and let the guy pass? Just cuz someone is tailgating you doesnt mean you have to go faster...
Driving is a priviledge, not a right. Lesson learned, good luck man.

Ok, this makes a whole lotta no sense. So first off Cocky, you are telling us that you race all the time and you got a street racing ticket. But in fact you apperently had to speed up to avoid collision?
Something smells kinda wierd, If i had to do that to avoid a major accident, and got pulled over, there would be nothing to worry about. I would go to court and tell him that I had to speed up because he would have hit you. The fact that you basically are like "Well i got a ticket for wreckless driving but it wasn't my fault, but aw well!!" shows that it was probably much more than trying to avoid getting hit. You probably were haulling *** down a mountain road. And the cop probably was watchin you the whole time. If it really was infact -you avoiding an accident, none of this would be relivant because you have a strong argument in court. But the reality of it is that you are accepting your fate because you have no chance of defending your self in court because you are guilty of every charge he cited you for.

Whats funny is that everyone that talked crap was a guy, and i can bet that there isnt one guy who can with out lieing say that they have never gone over the speed limit or raced another car. When some little punk pulls up in their ricer and revs at you to be cool in front of his gf or his friends most of us here would want to make them look like an ***...Yes raceing should be left to the track but everyone has done it on the street and if u say you havent then ur lieing or you just got your lisence and havent been driving long enough.....and to the person that said they dont know bla bla bla bla about ppl going 20 over the speed limit bla bla bla, you been on the highway in the past few years everyone in there mom goes 10-20 over the speed limit its a proven fact to stay with the flow of traffic is safer than going the speed limit i learn that in driving school.....Also he wasnt racing this time and i have had this happen b4 when someone pulls up right on my tail and i couldnt see there hood so i had to speed up so they wouldnt hit me.....If he likes to drive fast thats fine o-well and if you like to drive slow then just get out of the way thats why they have a fast lane....Cocky you did kinda ask to get flamed when you wrote about the street racing b/c you should have known how ppl are on this site...theres a select few who like to go cry about how dangerous it is to do that stuff and bla bla....yah its not the safest thing to do but who cares as long as there isnt traffic and you can maintain control of your car then let it be....and no you prob wont lose your lisence i had a friend that got caught street racing 3 diff times and his lawyer got him 4 hrs of comm service and few other small things but your luck you didnt get caught here....the fines and prison time is serious it sucks....
