Rep Power: 277 Well if they never made the Civic altogether I don't think we would be able to answer that question because the Civic has brought around many new classes of cars and standards to live up too.

Rep Power: 310 if the civic wasnt created, i would've been driving a 2003 toyota corolla-s. why? because my dad loves toyota and he chooses the cars in this family. its not my money so i cant argue against him.
i was about to get an base rsx automatic which could've gone to my older bro for a year, then me. i would've tooken an base rsx over my civic anyday

Rep Power: 272 At the time, I test drove 4 other vehicles before I settled on my Civic...
Hyundai Tiburon
Mazda Protege 5
Toyotal Corolla-S
Volkswagen Jetta
Volkswagen Golf
I would probably have been driving one of those...

This is why you never send your gf alone to buy a car.

Rep Power: 281 I didn't want to be so insulting, I was commenting very light heartedly. I would like to apologize if I ofended you. I figured you only went to one person and bought a car. You probrably got a good deal. I went to 4 dealerships called 8 of them, call me cheap I guess(I had a hard time getting my hands on an EX coupe)
I purchased the my 2003 EX coupe Civic new for 17,458.26 tax in (I converted it from 22,900 canadian) Taxes in Canada are very high. Its a 2003 Civic fully loaded, manual transmission, spoiler and audible alarm. It might not of got the best deal, but hey I was getting tired looking for a car. I put as much effort as I could. I'm guessing its way more competitive in the states since they probably have more dealerships and sell more cars than here in Canada.
I won't bet you 100 US dollars cause its too rich for my blood thats like $131 CAD dollars.
