Anyone Ever....?
Use seranwrap to protect your car when travelling to a show? I have to drive about 3.5-4 hours on Friday and I want to protect the front end (front of hood, bumper and mirrors) from stones and bugs. I've also been told that blue 3M tape works well.

Rep Power: 0 That Blue painters tape stuff works, looks like you have a baby blue body kit and mirrors, i was going to rock some of that going down to Ocean City but didnt have time. I saw an Audi with some on his car, its that blue tape you use when painter i herd works good.

Rep Power: 0 Here you go, Black Audi with that Blue painter tape on it, he did a good job took me a while to relize what he had on it. Good luck with it, i hate bugs and long trips always mess up your front end. Peace!!

Rep Power: 583 so is the blue tape a temp thing that he just takes off at the show? or does he leave that on there for a while? seems a bit ghetto to me to be riding with some tape on your car unless its just to get to the show. he did a good job on the audi, but still seems ghetto.

Anyway, the blue tape that some of you may see is called "race tape." Im sure some of you seen them on auto-X events to prevent paint nicks and chips. Luckily, those blue tape is not just blue anymore. They now come in different colors.

Rep Power: 0 Take it off once you get there, its like tape it up, drive, tape some more and when get home take it off again. Iv only ever seen the audi do it, its a nice car and didnt hurt it.
