Honda Civic EX '04 PRICE
ask for 15,765 and don't settle for anything more. they can do this price. they are just being stubborn. invoice is 16,265 and there is around 400 dollars factory to dealer cash back. my current price for that car is the 15,765.

I have a silver ex manual in stock I could sell for 15,650.00. You can reach me at 952-892-1100.
Thanks
John Binetti
Thanks a alot! The only problem is Burnsville is 320 miles away
Hmm. I got my m/t Black 04 ex civic for $14,500 +tax, lic, doc. Just stick firm with your offer and call other dealers, i got quotes of 15K over the phone from other dealers and I used that as leverage against the other dealers. Good luck to you on your new car.
Local dealer in town wouldn't go below $16,990 for an 04 ex 5spd sedan. Said it was the "best price"
He also said there is no way the offer I got in Burnsville was right, even though I showed him the quote. He said that has to be without destination and other fees.
Looks like its a road trip to the Twin Cities next weekend.

15,650 including destination and handling is a do-able number. just make sure they are serious about the price before you drive all the way out there. just keep in mind that they CAN do that number. it isn't likely that you will find a lower price...anywhere. its a shame your local dealer won't do it for you. i would try them again before you drive all the way out to that other dealership. don't settle for a higher price though. good luck, pm me if you have any other questions...
I just paid $16,000 for an 04 EX 5spd sedan (black I'll post a pick when I pick it up next week). Get this story:
So I'm at the local dealer, in Grand Forks ND. I had with me all the great advice I've gotten here, especially from HondaSales (who rules
) and my offers from Edmunds, the lowest being $15650 from a dealer by Minneapolis. So they start talking about they don't negotiate - they give the best price which is $16,990. I show them a printout of the $15,650 offer and they ho-hum it saying it can't be true. They say $16,990 is the best they can do. I say thanks, but I'll save $1,300 and drive. They say they have been having a hard time getting Civics and have been selling every one they have for $16,990. They then say maybe they'll buy the Civics off the lots around Minneapolis. I say whatever and leave. Less than 30 minutes later I call the guy from Minneapolis to say I'll pick up the one for $15,650. He says sorry but another dealer actually just bought the one he had, I ask which dealer and he says one in Grand Forks ND.
The dealer in Minneapolis said no place around has the car I want, and they can't get another for 2-3 months.
Talk about shady f'king car dealership. If anyone is ever in Grand Forks ND (which I doubt) don't buy a car from them.
By the way I ended buying what I wanted in Fargo, ND (an hour away and my hometown) for $16,000 even like I said at the beginning but you probably forgot by the end of my rant.
