Done it yourself??
so i did a search about DIY CAI and i found out everything i need to know as far as parts and instructions. My question is has anyone done this?? or better yet, has anyone even tryed? why is this NOT a good idea?? what can i expect to run into that maybe wasn't on the linked page.

Tried what? put on an intake? most people on here have them, its easy to do. My AEM CAI came with instructions so there was no need for a DIY.... why would it not be a good idea?

Rep Power: 0 if your hesitant to do it yourself then dont....some people just dont feel comfortable with it.
i can understand! sometimes you should just pay to have it done professionally
but if you do decide to do it yourself, just take you time and do it right! no shortcuts or anything....or your gonna screw your engine up, or that $200 dollar CAI you just bought!
