so after you register you become a trial user and have no "rights"
im trying to sell my headlights so i post in the EK forum and i get a warning that i have lost 2 point from my record and my thread has been moved

the reason i posted in the EK forum in the first place is cause trial users cant post in the classified..i cant reply to it and i cant send a private message so i just get flamed and owned for their faggoty asses creating a horrible place where people can sell stuff

i guess the fact that they just laughed in my face pissed me off, and i cant write back or make an attempt to explain myself...i dont know, its the perfect example of n00b bashing and it just upsets me...plus i just want to sell my headlights and no one wants to buy them, they are just cloggin up space here at home so i dunno what im gonna do

i know what you guys are saying i been goin on honda tech for a long time but it sucked when i first started and its only good for performance and specs if you ever had a question about ur car they would def answer it tho although most of them do think cars like ours are ricers... i personally think my car isnt rice and i know its slow but im not puttin a boeing 747 wing on the back and im not putting spinning hub caps on lol

Hond Tech is great. You have a bunch of guys who actually know about cars instead of a bunch of goons arguing and talking more about off topic than cars all day. Oh, and if you are looking to rice out your ride or sell products to make your car pretty that is not the site to do it on.

yet it is understandable that they would not let you post in the forsale/trade forum. You are a noob one one knows you, therefore noone trusts you. And you by going to a technical site like that trying to sell some headlights deserves flame.

I guess this is the closest thing that I'll get to getting my question answered without creating a new thread, but how do the Classifieds work on this site? I came here looking for a set of the seven spoke stock 15's, but apparently, I can't even get into the Classifieds? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, iunno.

Either way, HondaTech is a great site. Yeah, they're a bit uppity, but they're knowledgable about Hondas. It doesn't take much to be able to post in their Classifieds, all you need is to be a member for 20 days. I think I have two posts over there, and I can post in the Classifieds.

Is there any chance of letting the Classifieds on this forum be open to the general public, but just not allow posting? I'd like to peruse the forum and see if there are some things that I'd like to get. I figure if people aren't selling items, there is less chance of people getting ripped off, as people generally don't ship without the money first. But, if I'm totally off-base about the classifieds, show me the way.

man all of you guys are crazy. honda-tech is the best honda site out there. it has the most information out there for hondas. some people from this site take their **** and post it in the general auto ramblins section here. i agree that some...ok a lot of those members there are ****s but they have soooo much more information on building a honda motor than this site will ever have. the reason for that trial member thing is because some people post some stupid **** and it helps out the site become more organized. remember that one domestic guy in this forum who kept bashin on our cars. im not baggin this site i think its a great forum but common you cant judge that site but postin once. look around youll be amazed.
