Maybe if you don't want to go all the way out there with the hybrid, maybe you should look at the hx, that gets the highest MPG out of the civics besides the hybrid. And i'm not exactly what other features it has, but i believe very similar to the ex.

i dont know about the rest of you guys .. but i get about 410 to 390 miles out of my ex on a full tank.. and i punch it once and while... And i drive 130 miles to and from work... so dont tell me that your lx is get so much more milage out of a gas tank... the ex is just nicer............

I am NOT getting an EX...I don't care if YOUR sunroof has no problem...but I have had trouble with two different sunroof...plus if you have the extra 3-4k I would have to spend...please let me have it...I live on a budget...newly married, just out of college and in a new job....gotta watch the cash..esp living in DC

Well because its cheaper than an EX, it still has everything except the ABS and the sunroof, I didnt want a sunroof because of the possibilty of leaking, ABS would be alright but its not a big deal to me. The lx/dx has lower compression wich would be better for a turbo, and if you get black you dont have to worry about the mirrors not matching body colour. All just my opinion of course, plus im biased because I of course own an lx

I'd say hold out, i went and got my 04 EX for 14,500 brand new out the door. They should be able to cut it to you at invoice cost, maybe a couple hundred over that. But if you play hardball saying you have offers from another dealer, most are willing to negotiate. Best of luck on that new car!

Well I am getting the car for $13,982 but once I add in taxes..etc it is $15,500 for the lx...demand is crazy here in dc..but I am going to see if I can get them down to $15,000.

you can't get an '04 civic lx sedan automatic for less than 14,377.20 (including destination and handling), plus tax and tags. any dealer saying they will go lower is lying. FYI.
