Oh F*ck Wheres My Car?
Oh F*ck Wheres My Car?
i knew I should've gotten an alarm...anyways my girlfriend and I went out to eat at toledos in northwest fresno with a couple of friends tonight. we parked in the back because their parking in the front was packed. anyways after we ate (about an hour after) we went outside and "OH F*CK WHERES MY CAR?" so let me get this **** straight...that imobolizer system **** comes on every car right? and people are not suppose to be able to steal our cars? im so pissed right now...anyways...if my car comes back as a complete loss imma get a s2k or g35.
hope they dont take my fu*kin $10 tweeters too...i already know the turbo is gonna be gone...they probably wont take the body kit unless they're gonna sell it out of state or some sh*t...cause i marked all my parts so that incase something like this happens id be able to track the fu(ker down, bye-bye exhaust...si rims... you guys think i might get a complete loss....? will insurance cover the turbo? from my understanding as long as i can provide insurance with receipts they'll cover all the items right?
dam man, sorry to hear your loss. i hope this works out for you.. dam theives
hate those poor *** guppies who are lazy to work but gotta steal to get what they want.
im not sure if insurance will pay for ur turbo and all that, if you just show them a reciept, they can just say you borrows it from a friend or something. i think the way it works for parts on ur car is to let them know while its on the car so they can add it to ur insurance policy.. but i dunno, i never been thru a situation like this.
goodluck though

i heard from my friend said, you have to add a accessories protect(something like that) with your insurance in order to get the moeny back by stolen aftermarket parts. such as headunits, speakers, with receipts proven. i don't know they will cover exterior part and turbo or not.
It matters who your insurance company is and how they do it. My buddy got in Integra stolen and they paid for his turbo and some of the other after market stuff on his ride. But that sucks man! Good luck with your new ride when you get it.

That really sucks, but you should have an alarm with turbo. I would have made it loud enough to head from the restaurant. Just start looking for a new car. When they find yours, it's most likely gonna be stripped and totaled. I hope insurance can help out.
I would be angry if my car got stolen too. I believe that the 2003 Civics with the EX trim have a standard imobilizer. But it doesn't help if someone towed the car away. I'm not sure what policies insurance companies have for those who have modified their cars, wish I could tell you more.
Good Luck though.

that sucks man, the immobilizer works, if the thief doesn't have an immobilizer key.
but if they do, and the keys are all standard so there's nothing unique about them, then it's pretty easy to take without an aftermarket alarm

Ouch! thats horrible. even though my Viper stickers look whack on my quarter windshield, they're nice and visible.
But not too many jackasses get scared off by alarms. and immobilizer is ****. That's only there in case someone wants to take your car with a fake key (who does that? they all go for the hotwires). I also have a blinking LED on my headunit (behind the faceplate. I NEVER leave the face of the headunit on when I leave my car) and a blinking led on the steering wheel
3 layers of car protection:
Roll windows closed, lock doors, put roof up, hide/takealong all valuables, never leave a car running unattended.
Theft deterent devices: alarms, lights, sirens, Steeringwheel/pedal locks.
Insurance.
of course a car theif won't go running away if he sees a Geico sticker. but if something is ever stolen, the only thing you really lose is some pride. Everything else can be replaced.

I had 2 cars stolen in 4 months out side my house. The first was a 92 Civic SI hatch, The second was a 97 Integra GS-R. My insurance company paid for my Racing Harts and a few other parts. I made more off both those cars then I spent on them.

the immobilizer is standard in all civics 01and up, regardless of trim. the immobilizer is SUPPOSED to prevent the car from being stolen with a copied key with wrong or non existing key code or "hot wiring." However, there are a few ways to work around this system and im sure im not the only one who knows how.
as far as insurance, when my car was broken into, they replaced ALL my aftermarket stuff that i could prove i had with receipts, serial #'s off the boxes, etc. I think it depends on what type of coverage you have and the company you have. I have full coverage on my car with state farm.
If I were you, id be more pissed if you did get the car back. I wouldnt want it anymore, because god knows what could have been done to the car. Either way, i hope it works out ok for you.

I spoke to a dude that used to work at a Honda dealership and he was telling me that the civics are real easy to get into. The immobilizer doesn't help that much just slows down the process of someone jackin your car. A screwdriver shoved down the weather strip and then pulled will completley shatter our windows.

Man you got your car stolen at the Northwest part of Fresno? That sucks, the NW and NE was the only parts I would leave my car unattended cause those are the better parts of Fresno. I'll keep an eye out for the car.
Any dents on the car? Anything that will make it different, because by now its already painted or striped.

im not worried much about all the other stuff, because i might be able to get them back. i ordered them all from a motorsport place in fresno and they have my name address and number for all the parts i ordered in their system. what im worried about is whether they'd cover my turbo...that i dont have a receipt for because i bought it from my uncle's shop. they have a receipt for the turbo itself but the problem is that its not in my name...it was orginally bought for an is300. although i do have the receipt for the bov and the piping...thats about it...

Arrogant ****s I tell ya...my friend jay had a 405hp eclipse GST. It was stolen about 3 months ago. When the police found it, it was COMPLETELY stripped. Luckily, his insurance company said they would replace everything but his subs just because they weren't bolted down to the car. Anyways..I really hope things work out for you. I'd have major depression if my car got stolen...and its not even turbo'd yet
