So does that mean the following do since they are all owned by them? idiot.
Volvo
Jaguar
Saturn
GMC
Mazda
Mercury
Aston Martin
Land Rover
Lincoln
Pontiac
Buick
Cadilacc
Oldsmobile
Hummer
Saab
maybe the argument should be made of domestic sub-compact cars like cavalier, focus, etc. are made like crap. Although on the same note some of those cars are pretty good now since their reputation went south. Look at focus was crap until the last year or so now consumer reports rated them #1 in reliability. that's impressive considering their recall history up to that point (2004 models).

Hhahahahhahahhahahh you will find me? Bwahhahahhahaha......
I hate how people such as yourself turn every thread about mustangs or anthing to do with ford into the long debated topic of domestics vs imorts. Cool, you expressed your opinion, next time do so in a relevant thread. I could care less what you say, just say it in the appropriate forum.
And I'm out...

This part? Yeah this is stupid, Chevy made cheaply? lol. Wanna compare Chevy's line of 01 automatic transmissions to Honda's line? o wait u don't, because honda really ****ed up with the 01 civic's and the problems with the trannies overheating, yes i know u may drive a stick blah blah, I would like to see some vaild comparison WHY american cars suck. What the hell does someone have a V6 stang have anything to do with someone knowing **** about cars????? Or much of anything, maybe he couldn't afford a V8, maybe he wanted that specific car, maybe a engine swap? I like the new stang 05+ with the shelby looks *kinda* I sure as hell could not afford a V8, if I could get one I would just buy a V6, y? Because i think its a great looking car, and not everyone buys for speed, some buy for looks. That does not mean I wont try to tune it up a little, I dont care if I own a Ferrari or a ****ing BMX bike im gonna try to get the most out of it. So where does the owning a v6 stang have anything to do with knowledge?

whatever man i won't argue with you. just go sit in a 2004 chevy cavalier or a pontiac sunfire. if you still disagree with me then i was wrong. and im not talking about the high end americans such as cadi, lincoln or the exotics. im just talking about the cars that people compare to civic's and accord's.

OK....
The thing about honda having problems with the 01 automatics, OOOOPS, guess it wasnt chevy that put PLASTIC OUTPUT SPLINE BEARINGS on trucks in the 60s..... OH WAIT it was! Honda also issued a recall for the trannies as well, so thats a problem solved. V6 mustangs are a joke, period. "Getting the most out of" a V6 mustang is like 240hp without a huge nitrous shot or some $5000 blower system. Thats just pathetic for a 3.8L.
Out of all the cars you named, NONE of the good ones are designed by companies in america, ie: Aston Martin, Mazda, Volvo. So yeah, the cars made BY American Chevy and Ford are pieces of ****, but thier foreign counterparts are decent most of the time; so you have no argument, sorry but someone had to explain it for you.

And I owned a 3.8 L Mustang for 4 days, they are pathetically slow considering what Honda and Toyota have done with smaller V6's. Even Chevy has a decent V6 in their Malibu... ooops, that's Honda's engine, forgot.

Jags engine reliablity went up (nothing is more un-reliable then a Jag with a V12...) but the chassis build qualtiy has droped substantually. (poor welding, lots of slag, ect ect ect...)
