So we're not so quick off the line but....
Awww, c'mon guys...let the kid dream. Tell ya what...you get a Dyno run that says you are pushing 154HP from an intake (which has been proven to do nothing but take away your low end tourque in a 7th Gen) and Exhaust with Header.
This is funny! I'm gonna show the Mazdaspeed guys this thread!!!

The type thats in your mind....
But if you were to reduce rotational wieght, Fly wheel, Wheels/tires, Drive traind (Drill the gears...) then you would lower the amount of Parisitic loss through the drive train. The engine would still make the same HP at the crank, but you would lose less through the drive train..... so Its not really adding HP, but just allowing you to Lose Less..

Another clue...and you can search on this...as we usually tell most n00bs before they start talking about how they beat down a Ferrari on the street in an EX with i/h/e...CAIs for the most part don't add any HP with the D17. In fact, a few people have found in Dyno runs that they actually lost some low-end torque if not some HP. Same goes with Exhaust (although there is still a debate going on about this regardless of common automotive knowledge) that if you go to big on your exhaust diameter, you will lose backpressure on the engine....thus reducing HP as well. So if you have the wrong i/h/e setup you may actually be losing HP to your wheels.
There some people on this board that are into turning their Vic into a show car, want the looks, and don't care if it is fast or not. There are others that are totally into speed and engine power...you will find these guys in the Forced Induction forum
. There are others, regardless of your admonition that an engine swap is...what were the words you used..."Anyone who buys a new Civic and Pops in a motor swap needs their head examined
morons" Well...let's see...if you can get a nice used 2001 for around $10k, drop in a K20A (220 HP RSX Type R if you can find one) with kit (Highball this at about $8k), you just bought a Vic for $18k putting down some serious numbers, LSD, 6 speed manual, and if you don't put a bunch of exterior mods on it...one hell of a sleeper. Now most people on this board re fairly level headed, and everyonce in a while have to put up with a n00b like you that thinks that a Vic is an S2k. I forget the guy who thought we would believe that a cop let him off of a ticket after he was backtalking to him...think he was from Louisana or texas or somewhere. Don't be that guy.

as for products of inbreeding? Why don't you ask your sister and your dad what inbreeding does to humans. Wait, i'll tell you. It creates people like you, who we all wish God would end your life in the most horrific way as soon as possible.
