I have V-Kool tint on my civic. It cost a fortune, but it does indeed keep the heat out. My moonroof gets wayyy hotter. I'll have them put some V-Kool on that as well.

Now that I read the article on the huper film, it's exactly the same stuff as V-Kool.
V-Kool was originally made for commercial building glass. Only difference.
And, YES, it cuts glare like crazy. I can see sooo much clearer. Even oncomming headlights don't have halos around them.
