Honda Integra DC5 Type R ?
Not from Honda in North America, but you can get anything from a DC5 Integra at alot of Japanese Importers eg.Lucky Star Motors in scarborough,ON has all the parts from a DC5 Integra from bumper to bumper.

is that your DC5R?
honda doesn't seem to think North america needs a Type R.....they're wrong...but thats what they think.
Best DC5 we have is the Type S, 200hp, 6speed, no lsd, no brembos, and leather Recaros that don't say Recaro on them, no lip kit, no wing.

a spec is just a apearance package, but yea i guess you could say that cause it has the lip kit, wing, 17's and slightly lowered springs. Still no goodies on the motor though, and same brakes as the S. At 30k i can't beleave anyone buys them.

they are working on a TL A-spec concept as well. It was in this months import tuner along with the turbo TSX. We should get the TL in a couple years it what it said, but that is gonna be hella expensive. IBTL

nope sorry, not my ITR DC5, i got a RHD EM2 & im in europe
but had thought about importing a DC5 from Japan, u can get a 2nd hand one (1~2 years, 7K miles) for $29K & completely street legal in the UK
honda uk owner asked for the DC5 to be launched in the UK, we already had the DC2 so maybe we'll get the DC5

but same as u guys, im sure it's gonna take ages
lol

a dc5 is good enough for, no need of an engine swap (moreover u ain't supposed to go faster than 70mph over here) lol

If they made the RSX an Integra ( and sold it as a Honda instead of an Acura here in North America)... they might be able to get away w/out leather seats, a.c, and a whole bunch of sound deadening and a lot of other stuff....

Even if they bring the type r over to the US market, it will be too high priced and will get spanked by other cars in it's price range.......examples...... EVO VIII and STi.

If they made enough they could get it to the price of an SRT-4 or a WRX. But like I said, those are only "if's". Honda isn't really that big on taking risks...

the old ITR was only around 25k, and you can get one imported for 30k including import fees.

^^^^
EVO VIII & WRX STi are both F/I(with larger motors), they had better be able to spank a N/A DC5(J-spec is what 2.0L w/ 240hp = 120hp/per litre N/A thats pretty impressive think if a 5.0 stang could get 100hp/per litre it would be unstoppable).
Stock vs Stock it would get spanked (until you turbo it
).
