Spiralmax?for real?

Has anyone seen the add in sport compact car where you can get a spiral like thing that goes into your intake or airbox on any car and adds up too 35 hp and up to 31 percent better gas mileage. what do you all think.

Rep Power: 0 well the wording says it adds "upto" 35 HP....so maybe they tested in some corvette or some exotic car....but in a civic i can guarantee that it wont add 35 HP
LOL yea i kno what yer talkin about its called the tornado air. visit their site --> <a target=_blank href="http://www.tornadoair.com">tornado airs website</a><-- its really dumb an really doesnt work. its just a little medal spiral lookin thing thas supposed to make the air that comes in spiral thru the engine an "add hp" but it doesnt work an got a real bad review by cars.com so dont buy it

Rep Power: 0 I saw an ad for it in Turbo magazine; they called it a supercharger, and said it will give you a 30% increase in HP. And that it is a universal fit for most cars.
Well , my friend got it for his 93 Accord- there was no way it added 30% increase in HP!!
It does help out a little, maybe 1-10 HP, but its not worth $70!!!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]
