ok i am kind of a "newb" at the whole car thing i mean i know some but not as much as others here i just bought a 98 civic ex i was wanting some pointers and tips on some stuff i need for it i am looknig for more accel than top speed what sould i do i am already in the process of a hiflo cat aem air intake greddy exhaust and i am trying to find a 4-2-1 greddy header just what are some things i need and what does a vtec controller really do and is it worth it?

if you a 98... get some wires, spark plugs, disturbution cap, upgrade fuel sysytem.. aem fuel rail, get a cam gears and a new billet camshaft.. reprogram the ecu... ud be good from there.. aem pulleys or skunks.. oh i forgot .. upgrade the tranny.. and u'll be flying good luck

umhh. i reall dont know but i know u can get a new fuel rail, gett eh aem one.. fuel regulator, ..go to www.aem.com and put in you info and you find everything.. to upgrade the fuel in the different go habe to ask for help casue i strated with my 7th gen civic .. there no fuel upgrade options soo.. that what i know .. just look it up .. or try www.nopi.com got e-cat .. nd put you car info in .. you 'll find everything.. or try www.jcwsportscompact.com ... same deal .. just search and read up on what u like and dont like.. i would go aem .. peace im out u punk bitches
