1g eclipses. The best built out of all the eclipses so far. THey come stock with 14b turbo. Everyone loves their BOV because it's not crushed like the 2g. The GSX is a rare production model. AWD turbo means speed but also means a lot of problems. 200-600 bucks is a little shady to me. It can't be running all that well. Lets see what else... they come with itty bitty side mounts...the transmition is the biggest problem for the Eclipses...and also. Ask him is the turbo has any shaft play, beacuse if it does...well then the turbo isn't much good until you rebuild it. I will get you more specs later

Ya the transmission for AWD are expensive. I dunno how much it is if you already have an AWD car, but to go from FWD GST to a AWD it's like over 3 grands.
join up on http://www.dsmtalk.com . my friend owns a 90 gsx and that's the site he suggested.

Wait, the car drives but only the front wheels turn? If thats the case the tranny is fine. Its the rear differential thats messed up. 1G DSMs are fun, but cost money to keep going and upgrade. The thing that sucks about those cars is that if you upgrade one thing, you have to upgrade something else. Not to mention all the tuning that will be needed for it. Honestly if your looking for a beater car, a DSM is not what you want. Also since your near Cincy check out Cincystreetscene.com and look for a guy named Scott that builds DSMs. He has a 8 second DSM and is by far the best for building them I have even seen. The guy can surely help you out with the car. PM if you want and I'll see what I can do about getting you his number.
