so i test drove some cars today..^^
so..i test drove some cars....got to drive the WRX, FORESTER XT, TSX, G-35 coupe and sedan..
and man...i fell in LOVE with the Forester!! it was so quick..its must be the best sleeper car/suv around! It had very good low end...and mid range~~ although i did feel lots of body roll..i still loved the forester...
later on..when i got into the G35..i was very dissapointed...don't get me wrong..i loved the engine and the tranny...but dang..i hated the interior..it really lacked quality compared to TSX. It felt so cheap..and most of the interior was the plastic stuff...
just thought i would share my drives with you guys..

Agreed. Nissan resorted to cutting cost by offering shitty *** interior. Infiniti G35's interior is actually worse than a Honda Accords. Pictures don't do justice--you need to touch it and compare it side to side. The differences are dramatic.
I guess they had to though... they invested most of their budget on performance & design, so something had to give. Interior quality was it.

I've been curious about the Forester myself. I'm planning on getting an economy SUV for around $20,000. This one seems pretty nice I'll have to test drive it.
My other choice would be the Honda CR-V. Has anyone here drove or owned one of these?

A guy at b15sentra.net bought a forester and loves it. he upgraded the suspension and some of the engine goodies (turbo timer, BOV, etc).

The Foresters although I havent driven one, seem to last. I'm not sure if it's under $20,000 (turbo). It's a nice big 2.5L F-4 with boost. Although the purpose of the car is not to race it, I'm sure you can catch people off guard.
