When in the hell did carbon fiber crap get so popular?
That stuff looks like **** on a car. Who in the hell wants a basically black hood on their car? If thats not the riciest thing ive ever seen

well some use it for look but it does serve other purposes to...ie weight reduction. This thread wasn't really needed to because there's already others like it. But to each his own.
CF is an opinion. Some people like it and some dont. If you think its crap its your opinion.
Personally I think its aight. The ONLY way I would get CF done is if I had a hood with the trunk..... then its hot cuz it complements..... but just having a hood is cool too as long as its done with flow.

If I put on a CF hood I'd want to paint it body color. 90% of the motivation to get a CF hood is showing off, not weight reduction.

Rep Power: 0 i like the look of cf, as long as its done with taste. if you cf the shiznit outa your car, like trunk, hood, gas door, interior bezel, rear deck, pillars, shift ****, pedals, mirrors, seats, floor mats, center console, etc then your g*y. but if you do a little bit here and there its not too bad.

Rep Power: 0 ^^ ok so you can say the same thing to body kits, and spoilers, and lip kits. these things only help stabilize the car if your going like over 100mph. and spoilers dont do jack for our car, they only help rwd cars keep teh rear tires glued to teh ground. the weight of the engine does that for us.

Rep Power: 0 CF either looks good or look horrible...in my opinion paying 500 for another hood is a waste of money, but others disagree....it is all a matter of personal tastes....
But then again you have to wonder why Ferrarri's and Labo's have full carbon fiber bodies.......
But I think it looks goofy when you have a trunk and hood in CF then the rest of the car a certain color...it takes away from the car...almost like it is waiting to be painted or something...lik enot painting a body kit....

it depends on what car it's on. there's a silver acura rsx that drives around my neighborhood, that's silver, dropped, tinted windows, carbon fiber hood, with gunmetal rims with polished lip, and it looks very nice.
