Well... As most of you know, I love BMWs... BUT, With this decision it really matters on the mileage I think... Would you be getting a new S2000 or one with miles?
If you had a choice between a brand new s2000 and a 99 M3 with 30,000 miles... Id get the S2000.
I prefer the new M3 anyways

when a youngn' comes in here asking if they should buy one of two very expensive cars I just sit back and wait for that person to actually come back with one of the cars they mentioned......

I've owned 6 cars and bought them all myself too. I don't want a metal for it, that's just life.

its cool im at work havin a bad day iv just herd all the time that my parents bought me my cars and stuff i hate that, i got a job and i can do my thing, sorry its just been one of those days, now i know im not getting no new S2000 thats not happening i can tho afford the up to 25000 range used one.
what are the maintenance and upkeep costs of an M3? of an S2000? Insurance-wise, what's the difference? Which depreciates the most? A few questions to maybe consider in the selection.
geezz...WHAT A STUPID QUESTION...
=> s2000 <= you can feel the pull
M3 <= gay + the parts are freakin expensive, its heavier
oh yeah...turboed ex is alright too. my ex is turboed and my brother has a stock 03 s2000, he only beat me by less than a car length. so cross the m3 off the list.

^^^that m3 now has over 900hp and is trying to reach 1000hp.
those vids of a e36 m3 racing and beating all those exotic cars that some of you might have seen, is that M3. Thats pretty impressive, the car can do well over 210mph; the driver is known to exceed those speeds atleast once a week.
the car looks stock on the outside, but is a beast in the inside.

I'm surprised none of u mentioned that the S2K is not a good everyday driving car while the M3 is. If you have driven the S2K everyday for a week u wouldn't like it much, u can feel every single pebble on the road. Oh BTW i'd take a BMW over a Honda anyday, it's all about class, but I like the new models more...purrrr

yeah...and they only get around 280 to the wheels (e46 m3, that is). turbo on a e46 m3? hell no. they (companies) haven't even made one for the public yet.

what company? i think i heard about it. allows gains of up to around 100 whp with the s/c or at least that's what i've heard...
Its a well-known company out of South Florida called AA Tuning.
Heres a video
http://www.aatuning.com/video/gfx/Cap0001.wmv
It will be available in June at the cost of about $8,600
Gains are about +90 whp, @ 5.5psi it is about 360whp and about 440 at the flywheel.
