Rep Power: 0 my brother is getting a car soon... and we (my bro and i) are trying to con... i mean, persuade our parents into getting an EVO RS for him... 4-Door AWD TURBO, cant go wrong. he just needs to get his lazy @ss a job and its pretty much a done deal.

Rep Power: 0 Too bad they don't sell the EVO up here in Canada. We have to settle for the WRX-STi for turbocharged awd madness...
I dunno, at that price I'd prefer to get a 350Z or for a bit more a G35 coupe. Sure, they don't have as much power but they are much more refined.

Rep Power: 0 It looks like they made the front hyper-aggressive and just slapped the front end on to a reguler sedan, IMO. And the wing sucks. Not that I wouldn't trade in my RSX in for one in a heartbeat....

The MR (Mitsubishi Racing) version of the EVO VIII is a Japanese-model only and is not offered for sale in the United States. The MR package includes:

* Forged Aluminum Wheels
* Aluminum Roof Panel
* Improved 4WD system, ADC, & Super AYC Traction Control
* Sport ABS
* Improved Engine Torque Curve

* Refined Neutral Roll Characteristics
Lancer Evolution VIII MR uses slick-response Bilstein shocks for improved handling. The aluminum roof panel and other reductions in body weight have lowered the center of gravity to realize more natural roll characteristics. Detail improvements have also been made to Mitsubishi’s own electronic all-wheel drive, to the ACD 5 + Super AYC 6 traction control and to the Sports ABS systems. The Lancer Evolution VIII displayed at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show took the MR designation traditionally reserved for Mitsubishi Motors high-performance models and used first on the Galant GTO.

Rep Power: 0 Yup what lilpman said, also its a couple hundred pounds lighter than the regular evo8 and it doesn't come with power windows or anything all manual accesories(i think)
