Oh yeah, miata's are hella gay, which is why I guess my friend just traded in his corvette (old one) for a miata and already paid for the turbo kit, new suspension, and several other parts. Should run low 13's, high 12's on 11 lbs boost.

Are you sure that's a Miata? The file's name says 4 rotor FD, as in an FD (3rd gen) RX-7. Looks like an FD to me, not a converted Miata. Unless they did the front conversion as well.
i was going to say.....Man even if you had that much power in a miata you would go nowhere off the line without at least a 11 inches of wide rubber on the ground. At least that FD had some weight to hold it down. You would probably end up doing the world's fastest deadiest 360's too if you were to transplant that power into a miata.....

The 4 rotors are basically two 13B's held together with extra long bolts and custom fabricated eccentric shafts. Essentially making it a 2.6 liter rotary. The car in the video by the way is an FD. Don't ever look at a car's head or tail lights to try and figure it out. Look at the A and rear pillars as well as the chassis and body shape. Blatant FD characteristics. Sorry but a Miata would not have the rear pillars nor the contours that this particular car has.

i found it on a miata forum in a thread about motor swaps...my mistake for confusing an rx-7 for a miata....the two look alike.
who gives a crap anyway? that thing was awesome. and im sure if you can put a v8 in a miata you can put a quad rotary...maybe im wrong.
