Bad move for Subaru
When is a car not a car? When a company decides it can waste more fuel if it calls it a truck. Subaru recently decided to modify the new Outback wagon AND sedan so they would qualify as "trucks" under NHTSA fuel economy rules.

uhm....the outback is a trim level....impreza is the model. and theres an impreza outback version...its called outback sport.
and i had an outback SUS when they first came out and the car is kick ***. and if you read the article you would know that the alteration theyre making is more ground clearance, so the car wont be any more of a gas guzzler than it is now....in fact, i think the STi is more of a guzzler than an outback.
