The two extra years you have on me obviously didnt help your maturity. I can only hope I progress further than you in the same time span.

All Riceburner and I are trying to figure out is why you have such a hatred of this particular EVO owner. Yet, in response you engage in what amounts to nothing more than name-calling. Very mature. Furthermore, you constantly inform us that you "don't care" but continue to reply. This all just leaves me scratching my head.

there's still a problem with your statement. If you look at the ticket, he's 24 now. i doubt his 'daddy' bought the car for him. It's not like he's some 16 yr old who street races to be cool for. Well, maybe he does street race to be cool, but we dont know that do we? your statement is so completely generalized that it makes your post worthless. Dont try to pull the age card as well, as we already can tell that age hasn't improved your wisdom or maturity level.

I don't care what YOU have to say and what Riceburner has to say and now Cambo.....read this carefully. Listen up now......I do not hate the EVO driver.....I don't know the kid.....however I think he deserves the tickets he got. He is probably lucky to have gotten just those. He may have been doing somthing else very foolish and gotten out of a major ticket with the one's he recieved. Yes its a general statement, Cambo, so go F*ck yourself. My post is a statment of my opinion. Do you understand now.....it's so hard to get through to ignorant people who respond to argue and enjoy to disagree.....Why don't you guys just tell me that you disagree with me instead being p*ssies about it. Say hey...I think your wrong...I think he is innocent and doesn't deserve it.....or the ticket is worth fighting.... instead of making a flagrant statment like "You Sir are an Idiot" Be men....

Even if he was doing something else, he shouldn't have been ticketed for OEM parts. If he was doing something wrong, the cop should have written the ticket out correctly. If he did do something wrong, the ticket isn't reflecting it. In this case, it's pretty much the cops fault. Right or wrong.

True....maybe the cop needed an excuse for the stop? "I'll just use the wing/exhaust instead" so my super. doesn't get pissed that I just let the person go with a warning....possible?

See...Mootlif3....I agree with what u say....it's good to follow someone like you in a thread. Nice post!

I just wanted to chime in, I have a sorta-similar situation coming up in two weeks. I was pulled over for honking my horn at an off duty cop. He pulled out in front of me and I got a ticket. :/

[/Edit] Yeah, it is way off topic. Just had to help!

I like evos. Just cant afford one. That wing is pretty high though.

The driver will win it in court. If he was racing and the cop was being nice then its the cops problem because he should have written him for the right thing. I would like to point out that we have no evidence of what happened and the particulars of the situation. All we have is a story on another forum on some other website, and a picture of a ticket. I get stoped for all kinds of random reasons when I am honestly not doing anything, and my car looks dead stock, even the wheels! Maybe the cop is ignorant, maybe the driver was being an idiot, maybe the cop just wanted to make the driver go and fight the ticket in court to make things hard for him. We dont know because we werent there.

IMO the driver should get off and he probably will. But its just my oppinion.

Figures it was in N.Hempstead NY. Ive gotten many tickets from them. They even revoked my license for 6 months for a ticket i never rember getting. I forgot if it said Cooper St. for the court to go to but if it does he will wait probably 3 years to get a court date.

I think he was probably driving down the street at 43.5mph in 3rd gear, then downshifted into 2nd, putting him fairly high up in the rpm range in order to engage in a contest of speed with a Black '03 Honda S2000 and then the cop heard him and came drove over to Main St. from Elm St. and pulled him over in a total of 19 seconds and the guy in the EVO pulled over 2.4 feet from the curb. Then the cop, having not officially seen the race decided to ticket him for his stock exhaust and wing although he had a hunch that he had been racing.

Oh, wait, who the crap cares how any of us THINK it happened since we have no logical way to speculate about it. He got a ticket for his STOCK wing and exhaust and that will not stand up in court. PERIOD. What does your immaturity and biased toward Honda's have to do with any of this??? You, immature e-thug, are an idiot.

Oh, and btw, if you dont care what anyone thinks, then why go to a forum??? Smart move, oh wise 24 year-old.

You know I'm just thankful that the Japanese companies are starting to notice a market for high performance factory vehicles. You really shouldn't complain. It's cars like the EVO and STi that will possibly bring back the Supra eventually bring the GT-R to US shores.

You really seem like someone who is unhappy no matter what you get. Go move to some third world country where high performance = 1967 VW Beetle, and then you'll have an appreciation for the market we have here in the US.

Really the reason we like that evo so much is because its a stock boosted car and very fast....everyone here would kill to own one...than again everyone here would kill to own a turbo'd civic...

I bet alot more would kill to own a turbo'd civic than have an evo8

I myself would love to have a 12psi boosted civic that would be nice....
