Fastest production car in North America in the 1980's. They pulled 13 flat in the quarter.
1987 was the fastest year and the rarest of them all is the GNX.
I've driven a stock one and one with a ported and polished turbo with a beefed up rear end diff. What a machine!

As for that GN in the first pic... I hope a bug flies into that turbo and shatters it to pieces. Seriously, I hope they run some kind of filter on that thing.
I had a friend with a Grand National. I still have the friend but he sold the car. Anyway, that thing was very fast. When he got on it, it just thrust in you in the back.

that first car is a bit tacky with the twin turbos poping out the hood owell 1000+ hp makes up for being so tacky i guess

Former life I'm afraid. That Pharoh is gone now and so is his 1974 Camaro...
looks like in the vid that he was a little scared of it when i hopped out on him. just ride it out and fix it.

You know how much a Grand National is worth if you so much as change the color?........
NOTHING!
There was some idiot in town here a while back that bought one for his wife and painted it pink of all colors. He couldn't sell it to save his life.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one in a different color. You can always paint it black again!! It's only the collectors thst care about that 'all original' crap. performance enthusiasts like myself would still pay a fair price for a GN in good condition regardless of paint color
