i personaly dont like mustang owners if any domestics...most of them think there little stock v6 mustang owns all..ive had them talk trash to me and i just brush em off i dont care if i would lose to them or whats its just the fact they they just talk and talk..and there car aint even all that fast..but wutever..if u have adomestic like a vette and those other v8 muscle cars that can haul *** then u have the right too but see from wat ive seen they dont brag they kno they have have a fst car and thats it but the mustang owners think that they have the fastest and love to say it but they really dont unless its like the mach 1 mustang

I have found that BOTH import lovers and domestic fanatics are extremely and disappointingly ignorant lease: Most of ya'll are like a bunch of little kids. Loving both imports and domestics, I have to put up with this childish **** on both sides...import fans saying domestics, with their stock 14 second quarters, are primitive, and domestic fans hating on aluminum wings and fart cans.

Why don't we all shut the **** up, and just acknowledge the following:

1.) ANY car can be fast with the right amount of money
2.) Different numbers of cylinders mean different pluses/minuses in different performance arenas
3.) Cars are a personal preference
4.) Rice, import OR domestic, just plain sucks

It's this kind of ignorance that will continue to further the gap between imports and domestics lease: You're going to judge THOUSANDS of drivers on the fact that you've encountered some Mustang drivers with shitty attitudes? If you don't like the CAR, that's cool, it's your opinion...but you're starting to lump people together based on what they drive, based on the small number of people you have met who choose to drive that vehicle. That's pretty judgmental...truthfully I don't think it's any better than judging someone based on their skin color or their religion. It's just as useless, retarded, and without basis Gee I guess I'm a RICER because I happen to be driving a Honda. By your logic, that is 100% CORRECT.

LOL I was thinking the SAME thing!!!! How often do you hear a Mustang/Camaro owner bragging about smoking a Civic or Protege? It's usually some import driver saying they "smoked a dumbestic V8" lease: I've already seen it on this site. If you deny it, then you haven't been paying attention. I'm not saying which is better, import or domestic, but just relaying what I've seen on forums and being impartial.

Domestic drivers tend to complain more about how imports LOOK....the aluminum wings, altezzas, huge body kits and decals were ALL born out of the import trend, whether us at 7th gen Civic support the ricer trend or not. So is it okay for import owners to complain about rice, but when domestics do it, they're hating on imports? Is this kinda like black people can say *****, but when white people do it, we're racist? Furthermore, isn't this ENTIRE thread proof that import owners do the same **** they are bitching about?

^Daim. someone posted quite a bit. nah i just want it to be known that i'm not tryin to be all like domestic sucks and what not by postin this cause it doesn't. i posted this cause my friend who drives a z28 thought the guys in that thread were more pathetic than he was when it came to his car, and i agree what's with the dumptrucks are better than those ricers thing? also it's people who think that no matter what her bf's v6 stang is faster than a gt cause it has a k&n air filter, and tries to argue with me about nitrous oxide and says it really is called NOS and it's Nitrous Oxide Sulfate even though there is no Sulfer in Nitrous Oxide. (sorry for the last bit it's for a girl i know so if she reads it she'll feel stupid)

NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide System. I have some friends that are mustang owners/lovers. They are cool as ****. As a matter a fact, they were with me at a Import showdown, which is imports only. We all had a good time. His car, mustang owner, is fast. I dont deny that. I also have a good friend with a b18 engine swap. They raced and the swap won by very little. The mustang owner congradulated him for his win. No **** talk or anything. You they have **** talkers on both sides of the fence. We just ignore those certain individuals and go on with life.

I say it all depends on the Import and Domestic Owner. I know a guy I hate very much, let me reword that despise very much in town that owns a V6 mustang. However he is willing to admitt to me that my car will smoke his in the quarter mile mostly becuase I have, but thats not what counts to him. He says that his car looks. drives, and feels like a muscle car which he loves and that acceleration means nothing to him, but only the thrill of driving a legend, cough. He also likes to call my civic ugly but I dont think many people at all are fond of 94 mustangs dressed up as cobras just my .02 cents..
however the point is at least he admitts hes slow?

well all i have to say is give me the extra 33,000 dollars that a Zo6 owner would spend on his car and let me fix my car(17,000 stock) up with that money and i just bet that my car will look maybe as goodas the zo6, but mine will definitely be faster. am i right?

thank you, I have a 350 (obviously) in my Z, now the LT1's can run from stock best being around a 13.7 to low 14's 14.3 being very high for stock. my car ran a 13.8, before I bought it, I saw the damn slip. If I put some mods on, which I plan on doing, and putting around 3500 into it, get some good tires for drag, and I will be in the 12's....very high 12's but stiil 12's

posts coming from me and miss_hatchy have to be looked as pretty knowledgable and unbiased, being we have both had imports and domestics. Yes I do have Z28 now, but did own a 2002 civic Ex. So I will not hate on a civic, because then I am just a hypocrite. I admit there are some very biased v8 owners out there that hate all import, but for Christs sake you cant tell me there on people even on this board every day who talk **** on domestics and have never even fvckin owned one.
